Staff Hosted Beauty Contest Feedback

Hello everyone!
A good majority of you participated in the first event of our new one event a month plan (in fact, more than I had anticipated!) - but a lot of you didn't, too.
I am looking for feedback from those who did and did not participate in the beauty contests.
Why did you not enter (if you didn't)?
And if you did...
What did you like about them?
What didn't you like?
Any suggestions for future versions of this game?
Would you like to see it come back?
We are looking to make improvements where they are needed. Please do not complain about how they were run. This was a first time thing, so of course there are flaws :) We just want to make them better for next time and are looking for constructive feedback!

The thing about staff not entering is that we vote. I love voting for the players. The only thing that could work is if players voted for staff. We did that once one year for a halloween dress up. It was fun but realistically, I think it may be hard to host both player and staff games =)<br /> <br /> I think I'll enter things for fun regardless =D

I'd personally like to have staff enter these contests. We're all members of Alacrity, we should all be able to enter. I know how it feels from both sides of the spectrum; as non-staff, it may feel unfair to have a staff member win. However, speaking from a current staff position on another site, it gives you a left out feeling when the other users get to enter and you aren't allowed.<br /> <br /> Aside from that, I loved these contests, they're fun! I would definately like to see them come back for more rounds.

I couldn't enter cause I was staff =|<br /> <br /> I'm just kidding xD<br /> <br /> I personally would like to see more staff interaction with the players during events =)
